Better GIF--I Think...

I sat down and redid my little gif. I hope this works better. I also hope it helps to sell books. On the other hand, I could go into business making little gifs...

That might be a good idea. I'm not exactly sure what gifs are, but I wonder if I could use one...and where would I put it?

GIF stands for graphics interchange format. It doesn't take up much memory. :-)

Gif banners are used as little advertisements. Romance Junkies will put the banner on their site and I may put it in a few other places, too.

The banners are fun to make--at least I think so.

Looks great. Easy to read and the right pace. Let me know if you think it helps sell books. I might have to hire you if so.

Travis,

Thanks. I used to make gif banners before ebooks became popular, back in the pre-Kindle days. So the banners did not help much then. However, times have changed. I'm hoping the little banner will snag some new readers for me, but competition is fierce. Time will tell.

Great job, Penny. I really like your changes. Hope it sells lots of books for you.

Kathryn,

Thanks. I'm glad I fixed it and I'm glad you pointed out the problems with the original.

Now I should get back to writing!

What program do you use to create the gifs?

Adobe's Imageready makes the animated gif. However, first I have to make individual jpgs. Then I load those into a folder and import that folder into Imageready.

There are sites online that will also make gifs, but it isn't difficult to do it yourself if you have the software.
