I got a really great review from Gail at Night Owl Romance! She said, "Award winning author Penelope Marzec has done it again. The Keeper's Promise grabs the reader's attention from the very first and never lets go. This inspirational romantic suspense story has it all. Pick it up as soon as possible for one wonderful ride."
I am thrilled. :^)

Now On Sale!
The Keeper's Promise is now on Awe-Struck E-Book's front page!!!! You can read an excerpt or even the first three chapters. There's a link to the book trailer video as well.
Irons In The Fire, my Romantic Times Reviewers Choice nominee for Best Small Press Paranormal, is being sold at a "Last Chance" sale at New Concepts Publishing. It is going for cheap--$2.80. I feel sad--even though it has been a NCP for six years. The book, which is actually the first one I wrote, is dedicated to my parents.

Physical Therapy
My mother is getting physical therapy at home. She hates it and complains about how much she is forced to do. However, much of what she is learning is very useful stuff. Yesterday she practiced getting in and out of bed. My father, who was watching the session, tells me there’s a trick to it. Of course, normally I don’t give much thought to how I get in and out of bed, but maybe someday the knowledge will be helpful--when I too am old and debilitated.
I find that when life gets tough, I revert to my fantasy mode. I read fantasy. I write fantasy. I go to see fantasy movies. Last night, hubby and I went to see the new movie Penelope. Of course, I was initially interested due to the title of the movie. Then I read a good review in the newspaper and I could not resist seeing the movie.
It was cute. Yes, there is a big moral there--one has to expect that with fairy tales. Still, hubby continues to laugh today thinking about the scenes of men jumping out the window. I liked the tender scenes better. :^)
And since I’m in a fantasy mood, in my few spare moments I’ve been writing a time travel pirate romance. Fun stuff. I don’t know how far I’ll go with this idea, but it’s a lot more interesting than thinking about the mechanics of how to get in and out of bed.
Wait a minute. Getting a lusty hero and heroine into the same bed is really a great idea. Of course, it doesn’t necessarily have to be a bed.
