How Many Did You Read?

Shelfari has informed me that I read 20 books this year while last year I read 22. Clearly, I am a slacker. I do have valid excuses. The first half of the year was a real trial. Plus I also write books, which includes revising, all that grammatical editing stuff, and tons of promotion. Nevertheless, I wish I had made a bigger dent in the stack of books I fully intend to read. I have ebooks waiting for me to read as well, but fortunately, they don't take up much room. :^)

The sad fact is there are so many books and so little time.

How many books did you read this year?

Only three that I have completed, so I fell very short of my goal. I do have a lot that are partially read. Do they count?

More than I can count, but 22 is a lot, I read probably less than that.

Penny, if you read 20 books, I think you're doing great! I've fallen far short of that number.

I think for next Christmas I'm going to ask Santa for an Ipod. My husband uses his to listen to audio books, and he goes through dozens of them this way. He can read while he's driving or at the gym this way. I'm going to have to give it a try.

Lita: Yes, count the ones you've partially read. :^)

MarkD60: I've always kept track of the books I read, but now Shelfari makes it easier. I know there are people who read many more books than I do.

Jana: I've listened to some audio books on very long trips, but I prefer reading books. I like looking at the words. :^)
